Story 70. “Tatar 8 Khans” are the “8 generations of the Daedaero ( 大對盧 ) Gaegeum ( 蓋金 )” family   We study the genealogy of “Tatar Khan” and “Mogul Han” in <Saguk Sa, Taikh-I Arba' Ulus, 四汗國 , Four Khan Countries> and confirm whether the genealogy is the genealogy of Goguryeo.                            The Wars of Tang / Sillar and Goguryeo, Backje. Wiki Encyclopedia/Google The genealogy called “Mogul Han” in Turkic-Persian has already been revealed to be the genealogy of King Dae Jo-yeong of Balhae. He was originally the “old general of Goguryeo” and the chieftain of Sokmalgal( 粟末靺鞨 ), as stated in <Goryeosa 高麗史 , Goryeo History>. If so, the name of “Tatar Khan” was “Tatar” and since it was the title of the “Daedaero ( 大對盧 )” office, the family that held this office is the genealogy of Tatar Khan.   In that case, the “Tatar 8 Khans” mentioned in <Saguk-sa, Taikh-I Arba' Ulus, 四汗國 , Fou...

Story 69. The historical reason why ‘Dae-daero ( 大對盧 )’ came to be used as a Turkic “Tatar” ethnic group name   In order to see how the name of the Dae-daero family came to be used as a ethnic group name for the “Tatar people” of the Turkic people of Central Asia today, we must look at the historical relationship that the Goguryeo royal family and the Dae-daero family had with them. Let’s look at the record of the fall of Goguryeo in the <Old History Book of Tang>.   In the second year of the reign of Seong Ryeok ( 聖曆 ) (699) of Tang Dynasty, Deok-mu ( 德武 ), the son of Go-jang ( 高藏 ) of the last king of Goguryeo, was given an official position again and became the Andong Governor ( 安東都督 ) and had him lead the main territory ( 本蕃 ). From this point on, the old Goryeo households ( 高麗舊戶 ) in Andong gradually decreased and then divided and fled to Dolgol ( 突厥 ) and Malgal ( 靺鞨 ), and the Go clan leader ( 高氏君長 ) was finally cut off.’   Why do we have to look...

Story 68. The origin of the “Tatar” clan name is the Goguryeo word                                           “Dae-Daero ( 大對盧 )”   Then what is the origin of the “Tatar” clan name? The origin of “Tatar” is not Mongolian, “Chinese” or “Turkic”. It comes from a government official title used by Goguryeo people and the family of a Goguryeo person who inherited that official position was called the “Tatar” clan. It comes from the “Goguryeo language” that has been passed down to today’s “Joseon language”.  Then, among the various scholars’ views introduced by Zekiev, only one is closest to Dr. Kwon’s perspective. That is, “the famous Khiva Khan and historian Ebu’l Gazi said that the word Tatar was initially used as a personal name (antroponim), but later took on the form of a clan name.”   Why is the statement of the ancient figure, “Khiba Khan Abul G...
