The
name Genghis is not actually an honorific title meaning ‘Universal Ruler’

original word of Genghis in the
history book of< Taikh-i Araba' Ulus,Mongol’s four Khans, in Perisian> by Mizord Ulikbek (1395~1449 year) was pronounced to ‘Tin-get(Jin Kug 진국震國 in old chinese’ which was

God of Feat of Arms, distinguished military services’. The King of Taemushin was

Here is the episod of ‘Temujin’ named by his father ‘Yesugei’. The Altan Khan of Jin (금)Dynasty, who ruled the central-north area of China and Manchuria, killed two Khans of Mongol ,Okin Barkak and Ambakai Khan, whom Tatars catched and delivered to the Altan Khan of Jin Dynasty. At those times the Altan Khan worried about the rising Mongols and wanted to weaken the Mongols meanwhile the Tatars was against Mongols always. The Mongol came from the word of ‘Mal-gal’(말-갈 靺鞨) originated from the word of ‘Mal-Gol (말-골)’.
‘말-골 Mal-gol’ was changed to ‘몰-골 Mol-gol’ and then to ‘몽골 Mongol蒙古’ finally. ‘말-골 Mal-gol’ meaned ‘horse말(Mal)馬-village,province 고-을 (Go-eul)忽 in korean . Today the national animal of Mongoria is the horse.
Meanwhile the fortress town or the walled city were called ‘ Guryue 구려句麗’. The Goguryue (고구려 高句麗)Kingdom was formed of two kinds of paramilitary & civil military unions, many of fortress/walled towns(Guryue 구려句麗)and 7 Malgal tribes which had own military forces in the northern areas in Manchria and korean peninsular.
The
Balhae Kingdom발해 渤海 ,the successor of Goguryue 고구려 高句麗, was established
by Dae Jo-young the general, one of royal family of Goguryue Kingdom,
together with two tries of 7 Malgals (Mongols).
The
term of ‘Mongol’ originated from the Malgal tribes of the ancient
kingdoms, Goguryue 고구려高句麗 and Balhae 발해 渤海.
Genghis Khan/Chinggiz Khan called his united country the Mongogl as praising descendant of Goguryue and Balhae Kingdom as well as Temujin named himself as Genghis Khan as admiring his earliest ancestor, the King of Jin Kingdom진국왕震國王.
The
Goguryue( 37.BC ~ 668.AD) dominated very huge territory to the Amur (black
dragon黑龍) River on the north,to the Han River(passing through Seoul) on the
south, and northern China. The Balhae (713~926),the
successor of Goguryue, expanded its territory larger than Goguryue ruled . Both
of two kingdoms were the ruling Dynasties in the north-east Asia for 900 years.
The royal families of both kingdoms were the ancestors of Genghis Khan of
Mongol(Malgal) tribes.
Story 4. Tatars
The origin of the word Tatar comes from the first
official position of Goguryeo, the DaeDaeRo대대로大對盧.
In the late Goguryeo period, the DaeDaeRo대대로大對盧 was the
highest officials, and the person with this officials served as the prime
minister in charge of state administration. With the establishment of the
aristocratic coalition government, it was operated by a combined system in
which nobles with the first to fifth officials met and decided. The DaeDaeRo대대로大對盧 presided
over this aristocratic meeting and oversaw state affairs.
Episode 1. Several meanings of Tatars
It was written by< Taikh-i Araba' Ulus,Mongol’s four Khans, in Perisian> by Mizord Ulikbek (1395~1449 year) as "the eighth Khan of the Tatar family."
This means that Tatars is called the 'qabila' in Turkic, which is
equivalent to the 'family gate' in the east. In other words, the term the Tatar
tribe is the same as the family gate.
MirfatifZ. Zekiyev, a world-renowned authority in Turkology, expressed the
opinions and views of various western scholars on the origin of the word
"Tatar" in the book <Turklerin ve Tatarlarn Kokeni>.
The basic family name for the Turks is the Tatar, which is also the basic
family name for the other tribes. Many scholars tried to explain the etymology
of this word with the help of Mongolian language, as the family name 'Tatar'
became widely used in connection with the Mongol conquest.
However, it has not
yet been found in Mongolian etymologies.
Some people originally took the form ta-ta, da-da, or ta-tse in Gina's
literature, etymologically in Gina’ language. The word of da-da in Gina means
'dirty' and 'barbarbaric'. However, more objective studies theorize that Gina
initially called their neighbors ta-ta, but later came to use the same words as
'dirty' and 'barbarbaric'. In Gina's view, only they were clean and the other
tribes were 'dirty'.
The famous Hivehani and historian Ebu'e gazi said that the word Tatar was first
used as an anthroponium, but later as an ethnic name.
Plano Karpini, who traveled to the Mongolia in the 13th century, records that a
group of Mongolians living at the foot of the 'Tatar' water began to call
themselves 'Tatar'.
N.A. Baskakov believes that the word "tatar" comes from the old
Turkic words "tatar" (the god of death, eualk), Mongolian-Kalmiker
"tatr" (pee) and Chubacian "tudar" (pee).
The Turkic-speaking Tatars lived in Europe probably long before the conquest of
Mongolia. Nikonov valkayinamesi documented the arrival of a Greek delegation to
Bulgaria in 990 and recorded that among its people were dirty names, such as
'besermen' and 'tatar'.
After the Mongol conquest, the family name Tatar became so widespread that it had never been seen before. The words of French King Ludwig IX (IX Ludwig 1214–1270), who recorded the Tatar people as 'those from hell,' paved the way for the Tatar to be understood later in Europe as 'tartar', a form rightly worthy of the name 'Devils of Hell.' For example, countless ethnic groups, who came under the rule of the Genghis Khan/Chinggiz Khan family in Europe in the early 16th century, were called 'Tatar.'
For the first time in Russia, countless eastern ethnic groups outside the
Russians began to be called Tatars. As mentioned above, the family name Tatar
was one of the names used by the Turks, who were neighbors of the Gina people,
to promote themselves. However, many scholars tried to explain the etymology of
this word with the help of Mongolian because the family name Tatar became
widely used in the wake of the Mongol conquest and governance. In addition,
they tried to find the origin of the language in the third languages Gina,
Persian, and Turkic.
Tatar's etymology is neither Mongolian nor Gina or Turkic. It comes from the
fact that the official name (官稱) DaeDaeRo대대로大對盧 used by
the Goguryeo people and the family of a character in Goguryeo who inherited the
official title came to be called the "Tatar =DaeDaeRo" family.
It is derived from the Guguryeo language that has continued into the Korean
language today.
The title of the family, a family named after a famous Goguryeo man, is
"the family of Gaesomun개소문 蓋蘇文" in other words, "the family
of DaeDaeRo Gaegeum개금蓋盧 from the
time of Goguryeo." The etymology of the Tatar clan is the Goguryeo
language "DaeDaeRo大對盧대대로 ."
Episode 2. The Great War between Twin sons ,Tatar and Mongol.
Two sons were born from a father who had written "Almuzanna Cohn=Alanza
Chan" in the < Taikh-i Araba' Ulus,Mongol’s four Khans, in Perisian> by Mizord Ulikbek (1395~1449 year). The one son was "Totor," who
became "Tatar Han," namely to be "Tatar Khan," and the
second son "Mogol Han" became "Mogol Korn, namely to be Mogol
Han."After that, for "Tatar", there were eight generations in total, the
last of which was "Sewinch Korn." He is called "Suyunji
Han" in another librarian. At this very time, he fought against the 9th
"El Korn(일 한)" clan of "Mogol
Khan" and annihilated the clan. This
is the famous "Turk-Mogolese Great War" from <Collection Volume of
History집사集史> and what <History
of the Four Mongol States 사국사四國史>
calls the "Tatar and the Mogolese Great War." The Tatar family was
the one of its brother’s family that wiped out the "Mogol" family in
this great war, which was the Balhae Dynasty in Manchuria against the Dang Dynasty
in Gina over two years from the year 732.
